Native Matter

Native Matter is a downtown Franklin shop that focuses on natural products and wellness. They sell home goods, clothing, wellness items, baby items, jewelry, and more. Rock Paper Scissors

So I definitely have a few favorite downtown Franklin shops, and this is one of them! Rock Paper Scissors is a store that focuses on party supplies, paper goods, and some home items. And while these are items I love to browse, my favorite thing about this store is how much JOY it contains! It’s so colorful and cute, and you can’t help but automatically feel happier when you walk through the doors.

They sell everything from adorable mugs to colorful notepads to scented erasers. Plus, they have an entire collection devoted to Dolly Parton. What more do you need?

Tin Cottage was one of my favorite stores for unique, Tennessee finds. They have Tennessee (the state, not the school) mugs and platters, and I even found a Tennessee shaped stuffed animal that had me laughing out loud amidst the other shoppers.

White’s Mercantile

White’s Mercantile calls themselves “a general store for the modern-day” and this is definitely a shop you don’t want to miss. Their selection of items is so unique and wide-ranging from stationery to kitchen items to baby items and more. Plus, they had an entire corner in the front of the store with local food items!

And fun fact: White’s Mercantile is owned by Hank Williams Jr.’s daughter, Holly Williams.
